SEBASTIAN KROGH

I'm a freelance documentarist with 8 years of experience behind the camera and 3.5 years of training from the Danish School of Journalism as a ‘Tilrettelægger’ which is best translated to shooting documentary director.

I specialize in commercial work with a strong documentary element, where I can truly shine. While anyone can create polished slow-motion shots with a generic voice-over, few can weave a compelling narrative that keeps viewers hooked.

My passion lies in long-format documentaries and series, particularly in action sports, where the natural tension leads to captivating storytelling. During my time with Denmark’s national broadcaster, DR, I also gained deep experience working with vulnerable people, such as filming in the trauma center of Rigshospitalet for three months, capturing everything from head injuries to heart attacks.

I thrive on physically and mentally demanding projects, whether it's covering the far-right voters for Støjbergs Stemmer, filming RANDONNEURS non-stop for 46 hours, or enduring -20°C in Norway for a dog sledding shoot.

I'm always searching for the next big story to bring to life—maybe it’s yours?
