SYNOPSIS
In this feature documentary, we follow Gustav Thuesen and his two friends on an intense seven-day bike ride from Copenhagen to Nice. This journey will test the limits of their endurance and friendship.
As the story unfolds, viewers learn more about Gustav and uncover a secret he has kept for a decade: an assault by a sergeant in the military that left him partially disabled at 19. The loss of mobility in his left arm caused significant uncertainty about his self-image and body, which he struggled with mentally throughout his twenties. During this period, he confided in no one, finding it difficult to show vulnerability due to societal pressures about masculinity and self-reliance.
Now, ten years later, Gustav is on the verge of a breakthrough. Ready to confront his past and share his story with his closest friends, this journey is more than a physical challenge; it's an emotional odyssey that could redefine his self-perception.
Embark on an unforgettable adventure and witness a powerful story of resilience, vulnerability, friendship, and true strength.
This extraordinary documentary will captivate audiences, inspiring and moving them as Gustav's journey redefines his self-perception and challenges societal norms of masculinity.
